Hey there! Good news!

Sorry I have been slacking so much on the blog lately, but I've been busy or without internet for a while now. Last week there was a bus strike, so practically the entire city was shut down! I couldn't even go to the library because it was closed (I guess the workers couldn't get there)!! Anyways, I was writing to tell you all that I have decided not to travel at the end of my trip, and instead I will be coming home early. I will be flying in next Sunday, June 18th, which means I leave Salvador next Saturday. I fly from Salvador to Sao Paulo to JFK (New York) to Indianapolis, making it just about 24 hours in transit including the cab time to the airport. I have had a good time and learned a lot while I was here, but I really feel like it's time to come home. I guess you don't realize what you miss until it's gone. Once I get home I will be sure to get all of my pictures up online for the world to see, so I'll post the link again once that's all done.
